MetaChess Initial DEX Offering (IDO) on NFTb!

NFTb is pleased to announce MetaChess, the first 3D multiplayer play-to-earn (P2E) and NFT metaverse chess game, has chosen to complete an IDO using NFTb’s DeFi as a Service.

MetaChess — The Metaverse Revolution in the Chess space

MetaChess is revolutionizing the world of chess by the fusing of blockchain technology and online chess. For the first time, chess players will be able to earn from playing chess.

Gameplay mechanics

• 2D interface: This is the simplest and most classic form of an online chess game. This version is live and already working on the platform.
• 3D interface: This is also the classic chess game, but is displayed in 3 dimensions (3D).
• MetaChess Warfront: This is the name given to the 3D version that has human characters and displays different battle modes.
• PvE Game modes:
  – Digging quest: Available only on the MetaChess Warfront version, this game mode isn’t about chess at all. You get to select any of the characters to play for you. There will be 8 squares on the chessboard that have “treasures” in them. You have 6 attempts to dig. If you dig the squares that have treasures in them, you earn some of those treasures. The owner of the square and the player who discovers the treasure share the revenue from the dig.
  – Player vs AI: This feature will be available on all 3 versions of the game mentioned above. New difficulty levels/achievements will be unlocked as you progress in this game mode.
• PvP Game modes:
  – Captivity Game Mode (Meta Chess Warfront only): This mode still follows regular chess rules. But instead of eliminating the opponent, you take them captive and they become your slave. Each character can have a maximum of 2 slaves in a game. You can earn points and potentially tokens and NFTs after capturing a certain number of opponents. This game mode is also available in PVE game mode.
  – Overkill Game Mode (2D and MetaChess Warfront): This game mode will defy some of the regular chess rules. For instance, after the first 5 moves, each player can make 2 consecutive moves.

How to Participate

The IDO will take place on NFTb Launchpad on 25th April, 12.00PM UTC. To participate in the IDO, users will need to stake in NFTb’s Tiered Model.
