Since InsurAce launched its mainnet in April last year, the recognition they have received has been staggering. Additionally, they are the fastest-growing DeFi Insurance Protocol in the industry. The reason behind this is its users. Their desire to provide a quality product for them, and the trust they have had in the project.

BNB Chain announced their Hackathon event in March as “a 50-day movement designed to bring the most creative and innovative builders together, help them team up, and build something unique for the future” Matthew, BNB Chain.  

This global event title is “Revelation”, a hackathon made with online workshops, in-person meetups, and $10 million in prizes and seed funding for the best competing teams.

InsurAce competed in the Disruptive DeFi with great protocols like Velvet, WEAVE, Duet Protocol, and more. Furthermore, InsurAce is the grand winner in its category. In addition, Velvet got 2nd place and WEAVE the 3^rd. They won with 25 votes with the others earning 21 and 17 respectively.

The category that we were competing in was “Disruptive DeFi”, sponsored by Venus. More than 10 protocols presented their financial solutions, with the most innovative taking the top prizes, and there is where InsurAce came in.

The hackathon is co-hosted by DoraHacks, one of the largest multi-chain developer communities and incentive platforms. DoraHacks and BNB Chain will also jointly launch and curate BNB GrantDAO. It is a long-term grant initiative to support and cultivate innovative startups in the BNB ecosystem.
