DEFY is a play-and-earn NFT blockchain mobile game. Immersing players in a metaverse that bridges the virtual and physical worlds, DEFY fuses hyper casual code-breaking gameplay, with real world exploration and Augmented Reality (AR) adventures.

The DEFY token is a utility token which is key in letting users acquire in-game assets, interact with other users and enhance their effectiveness as Operatives in the game. Users can acquire DEFY tokens by exchanging FCOIN (in-game currency) accumulated through in-game achievements or purchase them directly via a Centralised Exchange (CEX) or Decentralised Exchange (DEX).

Note: Originally, DEFY had planned to raise $400,000 via Polkastarter when announced in April, which has now been reduced to $200,000. This decision was taken based on the rapidly changing market conditions and with a view to the long term sustainability of the in-game economy.

DEFY has conducted two highly successful NFT mints to date. Over 7500 Genesis NFT masks were minted out in 13 minutes on April 30th. The second generation masks (Uprising) saw an additional 2000 NFT Masks minted in an hour on July 23rd.

DEFY has begun introducing tools for Operatives to craft and customise their in-game assets, beginning with the dynamic Uprising NFTs which are customisable with decals and badges acquired through the in-app marketplace. More creator tools are under development, with Operatives looking forward to crafting personal drones and other in-game assets.
