What is Keep3r?

Keep3r is a decentralized develops platform that allows to run scripts in a decentralized way, and reward bots that perform maintenance tasks for other blockchain projects, such as oracles, liquidations and strategies, in a secure way.
Notable projects they work with are Yearn and Maker.

The protocol has partnered with Wonderland, an activist investment fund that selects the best projects in Defi and actively develops them to make them better.

Keep3r Goes Multichain

The idea of the Wonderland team was to bring the Keep3r services to other chains, starting from Polygon, Optimism and Fantom.

As this process requires the ability to bridge tokens and data (to know how much is the job’s liquidity worth. And how much a keeper needs to be paid and incentivized with. They started to look for a decentralized, fast, and reliable solution to work with.

The general goal is to be able to bring a Uniswap V3 TWAP across any chain in a secure and trust minimized way, together with other liquidity tokens (kLP) and protocol tokens (KP3R).

Working with Connext

The Wonderland team has decided to use Connext for its security model (Connext relies on the optimistic messaging protocol Nomad) and the ease of integration.

The xcalls that the Connext API allows are easy to integrate and deploy. As Connext handles the infrastructure part and projects don’t have to assume interoperability risks.

NGNDev, Wonderland team member, explained: “Working with Connext and their team has been a great experience thanks to the frictionless ability to execute permissionless and permissioned crosschain calls, and the full support from the integration team. We wanted to avoid using Oracles on other chains, and Connext provides the most trust minimized solution in the space and is perfect for this use case”.
