Project Galaxy is powering a campaign for Moonbeam called Ultimate Harvest Moon: Win NFTs by using dApps on the Moonbeam Network.

Harvest Moon is a campaign designed to spark DeFi activity in hopes that different chains in the Web3 ecosystem will band together to build the future of DeFi on the Moonbeam network. Moonbeam’s unique cross-chain connected smart contracts will be the driving force to bring all these chains together.

The Moonbeam Foundation has indicated that it has allocated up to 1.5% of the GLMR genesis supply to fund a grant-based liquidity program for the Harvest Moon campaign. The first wave of Harvest Moon will encourage activity on participating applications (Lido, Curve, StellaSwap, and Moonwell). And as the next wave deploys, Harvest Moon will expand to allow users to harness Moonbeam’s unique DeFi capabilities.

Harvest Moon will run for approximately three to four months and will focus on attracting new users and building the core DeFi primitives needed for the multi-chain connected smart contract vision to come to life. The amount of tokens allocated to Harvest Moon and the length of the campaign are subject to change.

The Ultimate Harvest Moon campaign will start on July 28th, 2022 14:00 (UTC) and run on Project Galaxy for three weeks as a way for users to interact with projects in the Harvest Moon campaign to win NFTs.

All the NFTs for the Ultimate Harvest Moon Campaign are designed by PaperPlane, a Web3 NFT studio based in Asia. PaperPlane combined a blend of psychedelic fantasy and surrealism, which they say was inspired by an influential cartoonist Jean Giraud (known by his pen name “Moebius”).

During The Ultimate Harvest Moon Campaign, Substrate layer indexing data is provided by Web3Go, an all-in-one open data analytics and service platform started from the Polkadot ecosystem. Smart contract layer credentials are indexed using The Graph.

The specifications on how to get involved with The Harvest Moon Campaign are simple:

1. Eligible addresses will need to complete tasks provided by 6 Moonbeam ecosystem projects (Moonbeam App, Nomad, Moonwell, StellaSwap, Lido Finance, and Curve Finance).
2. Each task completed will be rewarded with one missing NFT puzzle designed for Paperplane, an NFT design studio.
3. After collecting all (6) missing NFT puzzles from the campaign, each eligible address will have a chance to synthesize one ultimate “Harvest Moon” NFT, which conveys cross-chain future vision. Each eligible address will be able to claim this NFT on August 23th, 2022. The snapshot of all (6) missing NFT puzzle holders will be taken on August 18th, 2022 14:00 (UTC).
4. All NFTs minted in this campaign will be on the Moonbeam Network blockchain.
