You need at least 4 dragons of different sizes (S, M, L, XL) to form a team. You can earn rewards by fighting in the game. Take 20 days, 43 battles a day, 60% win rate for example.

Don’t stick to one lane without any XL or L dragons available, as opponents can easily push back your dragons with L or XL dragons.
Save your L and XL size dragons in battles, as you’ll need them to compete with your opponent for weight. Using them at the right time will give you a better chance of winning the game.
