]]> SubWallet Receives Polkadot Treasury for Milestone #1 & #2

SubWallet has received Polkadot Treasury for building a user-friendly Web3 Multiverse Gateway for Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem. As of today, the two proposals for milestone #1 & #2 have been widely supported by the community and approve by the Council.

Polkadot Treasury

The Polkadot Treasury, whose funds are collect from slashing, transaction fees, staking inefficiency and parathread fees. Aim to allocate DOT to projects or activities that contribute to and benefit the ecosystem. Within the spend period of 24 days, if the treasury is not spend on project proposals, tips & bounty, then all the funds allocate for that duration will be burn.

SubWallet’s Approved Proposals

On June 15, SubWallet’s first proposal on Milestone #1 was table via Motion #222 and approve by the Polkadot Council. In Milestone #1. The SubWallet focus on developing a more user-friendly interface for basic wallet functions. Including creating, restoring and importing accounts; sending and receiving funds; managing account balance, crowdload portfolio and NFTs.

After completing Milestone #1, they expand and veer towards integration. NFTs on RMRK and Unique, EVM assets on Moonbeam & Moonriver, & Substrate Connect are important pieces that are integrated. Our second proposal was table via Motion #253 and approved on September 5.

Moving Forward

SubWallet will advance the security layer in the next months and extend their in-app features. The next milestones are in the works; SubWallet mobile version launching at the end of Q3 will provide even smoother user experience. Users can swap, stake & manage tokens with their smartphones while rest assured that their funds are safe with our integration with cold wallets.
