With the largest gaming market in the South American region and the 12th largest in the world, Brazil has cultivated a booming esports industry, with mobile esports seeing huge growth in recent years and accounting for 88.4 million players in 2021.

BAYZ Seed Round Led by YGG

BAYZ’s US$4 million seed round was led by YGG with participation from BITKRAFT, Delphi Digital, Valor Capital Group, Ascensive Assets, Fabric Ventures and Arca. Angel investors of BAYZ include Aleksander “Psycheout” Larsen and Jeffrey “Jiho” Zirlin of Axie Infinity. Sebastien Borget of The Sandbox, and Nickev of Rumble Kong League and reNFT Labs.

This funding allowed the gaming organization to kickstart their goal in acquiring assets from different play-to-earn games. BAYZ has already announced their official partnership with Axie Infinity, Fancy Birds, Genopets, MetaSoccer, and Influence.
