Regulatory Firm FinCEN Hires Former Chainalysis Chief Technical Officer

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network(FinCEN) hires former Chainalysis CTO Michael Mosier as acting director of the US Treasury’s Financial Misdemeanor Implementation Network is an indication that the regulatory firm is making its move on the cryptocurrency space.

The new director that has vast knowledge of the cryptocurrency space will give great benefits to the firm to prevent and track financial crimes, such as money laundering and terrorist financing.
