Ethereum Berlin Fork Is Scheduled Today

Ethereum reaches another ALL TIME HIGH before the anticipated Berlin fork happening sometime today.

Since its first Berlin testnet last March 10th,the Berlin mainnet launched is a next step for Ethereum’s 2.0 metamorphosis.

Included in the mainnet launch are four of the essential Ethereum Improvements Proposals to address the challenges faced by the Ethereum blockchain.

The upgrades include EIP-2565 to lower the gas costs during transactions;EIP-2718 for multiple transaction types;EIP-2929 for increasing gas costs on state access opcodes and EIP-2930 to mitigate the gas cost incurred in implementation of EIP-2929.

With all these new implementation, DeFi and NFTs deployed within the Ethereum blockchain will be faster and cheaper.

Eth2 refers to a set of interconnected upgrades that will make Ethereum more scalable, more secure, and more sustainable.
