Ethereum 2.0 Staking Reaches $9 Billion
Another all time high for total value locked in Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract.
A whooping 3,861,186 ETH has been recorded by ETH2Validators which is 3.3% of total Ethereum supply.
This is equivalent to $9.3 Billion in USD at the current rate of $2411 ETH price.
Analytics site ETH2Validators further states that 120,220 validators are active which enables ETH 2.0 mechanisms to offer 7.58% annual rewards.
The ETH2 will transition Ethereum from proof-of-work into a proof-of-stake blockchain and includes several phases that started last December.
