Canadian-based Nuvei Acquires Onramp Provider Simplex

Bridging blockchain space and traditional finance.

Announcing in a press release, the Canadian financial services company Nuvei has entered into a definitive agreement with crypto-to-fiat onramp provider Simplex for $250 Million cash.

The agreement will be subjected to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the second half of 2021.

By acquiring Simplex, Nuvei will have an enhanced portfolio of alternative payment solutions.
