Dogecoin is going to the moon.

Announced by Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC), Dogecoin, the popular meme coin is used to pay an entire lunar payload of DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon to launch aboard SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

The DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon  collaborates with Elon Musk’ SpaceX to launch a 40 kilograms payload to “obtain lunar-spatial intelligence from sensors and cameras on-board with integrated communications and computational systems.”

The official transaction will solidify DOGE as a unit of account for lunar business in the space sector.
