Wemade Tree Strategic Investment in Yeolmae Company
WEMIX announced Wemade Tree made a strategic investment in #Yeolmae Company, provider of art group purchase service ArtNGuide.
ArtNGuide led the first online group art purchase in Korea in Oct. 2018. Users can buy an affordable number of ‘pieces’ of works by renowned artists and receive joint ownership, and share profits from resale. Purchased artwork is stored and managed by Yeolmae Company, and joint owners can visit and appreciate the genuine work. From MZ Gen, many of whom are already familiar with the concept of the group purchase such as limited edition sneakers joint purchase and resale, to people in their 40s to 60s, are using ArtNGuide. Ownership is being recorded and managed safely on blockchain since 2019.

Wemade Tree aims to enter the NFT market in the first half of 2021, and the trade of various digital assets, including art, will be supported. Ownership obtained on ArtNGuide will be recorded on Wemade Tree’s blockchain platform WEMIX, and purchasing arts with WEMIX Token will be possible in the near future. Wemade Tree will assist ArtNGuide with blockchain technology, while benefiting from ArtNGuide’s art market experiences when entering the art NFT market.
