In an effort to further spread mass adoption, a bitcoin sponsored race car by Ed Carpenter Racing will be competing for INDY 500 racing event.

The Chevrolet race car is driven by Rinus Veekay with the bitcoin logo and number 21 that signifies the total supply of the popular cryptocurrency.

The race car finally emerge as the 8th placer overall in the competition .

Including bitcoin in the event aims to spread mass adoption and awareness for the cryptocurrency space.
