Ripple wins one more time against the Securities and Exchange Commission.
A judgement from Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn is in favor of the Ripple to deny SEC of getting access to the company’s legal advice.
The judge has denied the Commission’s motion to make the payment processor to reveal its internal information discussing XRP sales with its legal team.
“Accordingly, the SEC’s motion is DENIED. If, at some later date, Ripple raises its good
faith beliefs or relies upon its privileged communications in support of its fair notice defense, the Plaintiff may renew its application to the Court.”
This news is the third win in favor of the blockchain payment company against the SEC since the lawsuit was filed last December that caused XRP price to plummet down.
