A Massive Lottery Event To Boosts Digital Yuan Mass Adoption
In a move to further boosts the mass adoption of digital yuan,China is giving away an estimated $6.2 Million before June 11.
The massive giveaway will see 200,000 virtual red packets that contain 200 yuan to Beijing residents.
Residents of the Chinese capital need to register in a lottery system from two banking apps to participate in the lottery draw before June 7.
The lottery event winners will be announced before the Dragon Boat Festival celebration.
This is one of the largest giveaway event organized to give the digital yuan more exposure.
