Bitcoin-funded Water Trust Initiative To Provide Clean Drinking Water In Developing Countries

A bitcoin funded water trust initiative to help fund water projects worldwide until 2025.

Many countries still dont have access to clean drinking water. It is with thought that non profit organization Charity Water has set up a water trust project that will be funded by bitcoin.

The initiative was revealed during Miami Bitcoin Conference that aims to encourage celebrities and luminaries to donate at least 1 BTC each to the fund.

Famous bitcoin supporters such as CoinShares’ Meltem Demirors, Galaxy Digital’s Mike Novogratz, Yoni Assia of Etoro and pro-skateboarder Tony Hawk has donated to the project and Gemini exchange said it will match the first 50 BTC donation.

With this project,developing countries especially in Africa can have the benefit of safe and clean drinking water and also aims to boost positive effect for the leading cryptocurrency.
