When Ulka was still a child of 4 years old, she drew her very first comic on a stack of business card. It was a long story with lots of characters and the joy it gave her planted a seed in her heart to become an artist when she grow up.

During her time studying in a high school, she already started creating pos-material and cartoon illustrations for an advertising agency on a freelance basis. From there, she built up her skills on illustrations, character designs, animation, book illustrations, and presentations.

Ulka is now working on self publishing comics, puppet shows on Youtube, and designing toy series. Riding on the NFT trend, she made the bold move of minting NFT series for the characters created. Virtual reality and other new technologies are also the medium she’s exploring to reproduce more creative ideas and projects.

In her work, you can see all the colorful illustrations to represent the bright and happy world she’s creating. Largely influenced by street art, hip-hop culture, and urban style, Ulka infuses a lot of these elements into her work to makes them pop and deliver the positive message.
