PrimeDAO introduced Prime Times #7 about Prime Rating Roadmap, Rate-athon Challenge, Community Updates, The DAOist Event, Global DeFi Summit.
Rate-athon Rating Competition Call-to-Action!
In anticipation of Prime Rating V2, they’re launching a rating competition for evaluating DeFi protocols using Rating Framework, as mentioned in the recent round-up article. Those who participate will compete on six grand prizes totaling 7500 $USDC + 9000 $PRIME for the best raters in two main categories, plus 150 $USDC+ 200 $PRIME as a reward for every approved submission.
The Rate-athon will begin on the 5th of July 2021 at 2 PM CEST with a Discord kick-off call and last for ten days, concluding on the 14th of July. Within this period, you can submit as many reports as you wish. Everyone is welcome to participate in this Rate-athon. Participants can also form groups to work together and present their reports through a trusted or multisig wallet.
Prime Rating Round-up
Since the inception of Prime Rating V1, 14 raters have submitted 24 fundamental reports, 32 smart contract reports, and 4 data reports. The community member, now Prime Rating product manager, Lavi, has kicked off the weekly community and onboarding calls. They are now at the point where they are adjusting the framework for future reports, building the communication channels, and onboarding new community members.
Furthermore, they are working with a high priority on a new iteration of website. They are assessing new ways to improve governance infrastructure (currently, they use Alchemy on xDai). They are also proud of already established partnerships with DeFi Safety and API3, among others (see PrimeDAO ecosystem).

PrimeDAO at the Global DeFi Summit
PrimeDao Steward Luuk Weber participated in a panel with the “The Defiant” founder Camila Russo, Gelato Network founder Hilmar Orth, and Aleks Larsen fromBlockchain Capital. Ting Peng from Coin Telegraph China modered the chat. The super-group went into a discussion on “how composability is supercharging innovation.”
