How to connect your BitMEX account to Aluna.Social
- Before you get started, you will need a BitMEX account, and must first complete your KYC with BitMEX.
- To create an API key, navigate to the settings page.
- Once you’re logged in, click on your email/username at the top right to open the menu, then click on “Account & Security”.
- On your Account & Preferences settings page, click on “API keys”. This will bring you to the page where you can create an API key for your BitMEX account.
- To create an API key, select the “Key Permissions” for your API key and click on the “Create API Key” button.
- To create an API key with trading permission, select “Order” for key permissions.
- Enable “Order” key permission to create an API key with trading permissions
- To create an API key with read-only permission, select “-” for key permissions.
- Select “-” for key permission to create an API key with read-only permissions
- Once you click “Create API Key”, you should see a popup saying that “API Key Created.” if it was successful.
