PlayDapp has integrates Chainlink VRF
PlayDapp has integrates Chainlink VRF within their PlayDapp NFT Merge and Upgrade function. The integration is now live on the Polygon mainnet, enabling us to help owners of PlayDapp TownNFTs to increase the utility and value of their held NFTs. As a result, users can now take six owned R or SR grade NFTs and combine them into a rarer grade NFT, unlocking future benefits for their NFT. As more PlayDapp projects are released, the value and utility of Merged NFTs increases. In addition to this, right now users of Merge can unlock extra benefits, such as PLA or extra NFTs via Event Merge. Event merge is a time-limited way to boost your NFT’s Merge rewards.
PlayDapp’s Merge and Upgrade system use Chainlink Verifiable Randomness to define the rewards for merging owned NFTs.
PlayDapp selected Chainlink VRF as our go-to random number generator (RNG) solution because it allows any user to verify the integrity of the randomness relied on to derive fair results in the process of Merging and Upgrading their NFT. By supplying cryptographic proofs, Chainlink VRF helps ensure that the randomness is generated and supplied on-chain in a tamper-proof manner, leading to provably fair and unbiased outcomes for users. Not even our development team can tamper with the process, nor can outside users predict results.
