Astar Network DApp Staking Live on Shibuya
AstarNetwork thrilled to announce that DApp Staking is now live on ShidenNetwork‘s testnet called Shibuya.
Shibuya is the Shiden’s parachain testnet with EVM functionalities which is the closest to the Shiden mainnet. Shibuya has almost the exact chain specifications as Shiden and creates the best test environment for developers who want to launch their dApp on Shiden mainnet
DApp staking has launced on October 5th to Shibuya to test and see the huge potential for building in the Astar ecosystem. Help to test, spread the news, and educate the community and earn some Shiden tokens. DApp staking is one of their unique features to help developers built in their ecosystem and allows them to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
About Astar
Astar Network (previously known as Plasm) is a dApp hub on Polkadot that supports Ethereum, WebAssembly, and layer 2 solutions like ZK Rollups. Astar aims to be a multi-chain smart contract platform that will support multiple blockchains and virtual machines. Shiden Network is a sister network of Astar Network and a dApp hub on Kusama.
About Shiden Network
Shiden Network is a multi-chain decentralized application layer on Kusama Network. Kusama Relaychain does not support smart contract functionality by design – Kusama Network needs a smart contract layer. This is where Shiden Network comes in. Shiden supports Ethereum Virtual Machine, WebAssembly, and Layer2 solutions from day one. The platform supports various applications like DeFi, NFTs and more.
