HoneyFarm x Chainlink VRF Integration
HoneyFarm — a layered delegated yield farming project — has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on the Binance Smart Chain mainnet.
By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, they now have access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to select winners of NFT Jelly, the no-loss NFT prize pool for HoneyFarm users. Ultimately this creates a more exciting, transparent, and fraud-proof user experience, as users get the chance to win one of the hottest NFTs on the market in a fair and transparent way.
To get the chance to win an NFT, users can deposit the native token, $BEE, into the NFT Jelly. The longer the tokens are staked, the higher the chance a user can win. At the end of the pool period, the smart contract receives a verifiably random number from Chainlink VRF and uses it to select a winner. Afterward, HoneyFarm gives the NFT to the lucky winner.
