RiskSwap Presents Perpetuals Demo Trading for Public Tests
RiskSwap is delighted to announce the start of Solana-based perpetuals demo trading public testing.
The team has presented perpetual futures alpha on Solana’s Ignition Hackathon and plans to improve the functionality further by adding new features.
Perpetuals trading functionality V1
At this stage, RiskSwap perpetuals DEX runs as a demo and includes all basic features needed for perpetual contracts trading:
- Phantom wallet connection
- Margin account creation
- Depositing funds to the margin account
- Withdrawing funds from the margin account
- Opening and closing long and short positions
- Position management (increasing position size and partial closing)
To increase the position size, users need to have enough collateral on their margin account. In case the collateral is not sufficient, users can only decrease the position size.
Right now, users can request test RS_USDC tokens and deposit them to their margin account to simulate perpetuals trading and check how the positions are opened and closed. On the mainnet, users will need to deposit USDC.
We have prepared a quick video guide that will provide you with a basic understanding of how beta runs at the moment:

- Price chart display
- Multiple markets (now only BTC/USDC market is available);
- Funding rate engine;
- Liquidation engine;
- Central Limit Order Book integration.
- Information about recent trades and orders
- Other GUI improvements
According to their roadmap, perpetuals trading on Solana’s mainnet will be released in Q1 2022.
Early feedback from their users is extremely important for their team to improve the product experience and deliver a perfect trading environment at the mainnet stage. They gladly invite the community to get started with testing perps trading and share feedback and improvement proposals in this form.
