UNIC x Coinbase Collaboration
The Institute For the Future (IFF) – University of Nicosia (UNIC) and Coinbase announced the first five awardees of their joint Scholarship Programme for Minority Professionals, who have since joined the Fall 2021 intake of the UNIC MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency.
The partnership aims to foster the next generation of leaders in the cryptocurrency industry, offering five (5) full scholarships to the University of Nicosia’s leading MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency.
The partnership is aimed at fostering the next generation of leaders in the cryptocurrency industry, in line with the IFF mission to educate leaders, develop knowledge, and build communities to help society prepare for a future shaped by transformative technologies. At the same time, it puts into action Coinbase’s ambitious mission to increase economic freedom in the world, equipping talented minority professionals to leverage blockchain technology and digital currencies to accelerate an open financial system, in which capital flows through open-source protocols that are faster, more transparent, and available to all.
What further sets the Coinbase Scholarship apart is that each scholar is paired with a mentor at Coinbase, offering them in this way a chance to learn from someone already in the industry and to gain valuable insight professionally as they navigate their journey in crypto.
