Tempus is a permissionless market for AMM-powered interest rate swaps. The project is  excited to announce that the core native governance token of Tempus will launch through a Balancer LBP via Copper

Fair launch auctions are a specific configuration of Balancer’s Liquidity Bootstrapping Pools smart contract. These are a special type of liquidity pool that adjusts pool weights over time, meaning they can support an unbalanced ratio of tokens. In a fair launch auction, the price of the token starts high and drops based on a pre-configured curve that can be resisted by buying pressure from auction participants.

Tempus will be using an LBP to distribute approximately 7% of the total token supply of its governance token TEMP, in a pool, running from Tuesday 16 November to Thursday 18 November.
