In addition, creators can organize multiple NFT collections in one easy-to-use place and create an additional revenue stream from marketplace fees to fund future roadmap development.
Branded marketplaces also provide benefits for collectors. NFT collectors can trade directly on the official creator website, where they can be reassured the NFTs are authentic. Collections displays aggregated information, including floor price, trading volume, recent activity, as well as listings across all of the top NFT marketplaces.
Furthermore, Origin Protocol announces Pudgy Penguins as its first partner to power their official marketplace with Collections. The marketplace is also now live, and users can browse and trade all NFTs from the three official collections by Pudgy Penguins. Their marketplace will also be the source for Pudgy Penguins’ newly release official rarity scores.
Origin Protocol will soon be announcing additional marketplace partners in the coming weeks. With the approval of the recent governance proposal to distribute Origin Story platform fees, OGN token holders can stake tokens to earn their share of Origin Story platform fees.
