Camelot Welcomes Tarot Protocol to the Round Table

Camelot Welcomes Tarot Protocol a multi-chain decentralized lending protocol that allows users to leverage farm their LPs. Users can maximize yield and limit impermanent loss through their novel pool design.

Tarot has recently expanded its market offering to Arbitrum, and we are therefore proud to welcome them to the Round Table and support the first $TAROT liquidity on the chain. Camelot aims to build deep and sustainable liquidity for $TAROT on Arbitrum, enabling further innovation and creating more opportunities for their community.

Users can already provide liquidity and swap $TAROT, with the first farm going live on Friday, 6th Jan at 6 pm UTC.

A long-term partnership to support innovation on Arbitrum

Camelot a custom-built protocol that aims to become the native Arbitrum DEX. By building multiple novel features from the ground up, Camelot enables higher capital efficiency and attempts to bring the real-yield approach to a DEX. Tarot a multi-chain, decentralized lending protocol where users can participate as lenders or borrowers in isolated lending pools.

While Tarot has several pools live on Arbitrum, there is currently no DEX liquidity for their token. By welcoming Tarot to the Round Table, they are committed to providing farming incentives to the TAROT/USDC pool and supporting liquidity with the various custom-built features. Tarot committed to seeding the pool with initial protocol-owned liquidity, and they’re excited that this will support their further expansion on Arbitrum. In addition, Tarot working on the future integration of Camelot’s custom spNFTs, opening up the opportunity for significant capital efficiency gains as users can borrow, lend, and leverage their Camelot positions.

Custom-built Liquidity Infrastructure

Camelot’s vision is to build innovative infrastructure that supports other Arbitrum builders through unique custom features:

Nitro pools allow protocols to incentivize liquidity based on custom requirements permissionlessly

Camelot will leverage all its unique features to ensure that liquidity is deep and adaptable — tailored to what is most effective for the $TAROT token. For example, Nitro pools would allow us to incentivize liquidity in a custom way, such as by only rewarding LPs that lock for a certain time and deposit over a certain amount.

In addition, we could set custom fees for $TAROT pools or add even further custom requirements to Nitro pools. This high level of control will allow us to support the Tarot protocol to build an efficient rewards structure for their token liquidity. Therefore, we can enable highly efficient returns on $TAROT liquidity while bootstrapping critical infrastructure that benefits the entire ecosystem.

Most importantly, by welcoming Tarot to the Round Table and building deep liquidity for their token, we hope to foster further innovation within the Arbitrum ecosystem. For example, deeper liquidity for Tarot could open up new opportunities for use in other DeFi primitives.

The quest for GRAIL

After launching one month ago, They’re proud to have set the initial foundations for Camelot to become the Arbitrum native DEX.

Before launching, They announced the formation of the Round Table with their Genesis partners: GMX, Umami, Jones, Buffer, GMD, Sperax, and Nitro Cartel. With the partner’s support, the genesis pools allowed them to bootstrap $15m TVL before even having a token live!
