Celer cBridge Supports Xterio Games’s XterBSC Rollup
Celer Network has announced the expansion of its cBridge platform to include Xterio’s XterBSC Rollup, a layer-2 scaling solution for the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) powered by Altlayer.
This integration marks a significant step towards achieving seamless communication between various blockchain and rollup ecosystems, ultimately enhancing user experience.
The collaboration allows for effortless token bridging to the XterBSC Rollup, initially supporting BNB transfers. Users can now conveniently move BNB between the BNB Chain, opBNB (the optimistic rollup version of BNB), and the XterBSC Rollup.
Celer currently facilitates BNB bridging through the xLiquidity model, a pool-based method for token transfers between BNB Chain, opBNB, and the XterBSC Rollup. Additionally, there’s potential to integrate Celer’s Inter-chain Messaging Framework, a versatile message-passing protocol, into the XterBSC Rollup. This would empower developers to seamlessly build dApps that provide a cross-chain gaming user experience in the future.
This integration would enable dApps to create smooth cross-chain user experiences between the XterBSC Rollup and various external blockchains. It would also lay the groundwork for functionalities like NFT bridges (allowing users to purchase and bid on NFTs across different chains) and cross-chain reward claiming. These features all work well together within the Web3 gaming landscape and would provide gamers with a wider range of options. Notably, these functionalities could be offered to users with a single-click, single-transaction user experience.
