Police Officers In The United Kingdom Raided A Bitcoin Mining Facility

Police officers of Great Bridge Industrial Estate, Sandwell are surprised when they raided an industrial unit suspected of being used as a cannabis farm.

The raid was conducted after a surveillance operation where the unit is being visited by a lot of people in one day with wirings and duct tapes and generates excessive heat which are characteristics of a cannabis farm.

Upon the raid,police officers found 100 units of bitcoin mining machines that is use for mining operation.

Police officers has confiscated the mining machines and is now enquiring about the unit owners as there is no arrest that happened on the day of the raid .

Although bitcoin mining is not considered illegal,bypassing the local power company controls and using electric power directly from source is against the law.
