Pocket Network officially supports xDAI archival for developers and node runners.
With the xDAI ecosystem growing faster than ever, we’re happy to give developers and users more options when it comes to their need for decentralized node infrastructure.
The same developer-driven protocol has now grown to 6000+ nodes meaning we’re even more prepared for anything the xDAI ecosystem can throw at us – from bursts of traffic like Dark Forest v6 Round 4, to sustained usage from protocols within the xDAI world, to new protocols deploying and growing on xDai.
Archival nodes allow developers to work with historical data (past transaction information starting from the genesis block), opening up the possibilities and giving more flexibility for information gathering on the xDAI network.
This could be tracking transactions over time, like with Block Explorers, or unearthing other data over a long timeframe, such as analytic platforms.
