HiFi Gaming Society Integrates Chainlink VRF
HiFi Gaming Society now have access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to generate HIFI’s rarity-based NFTs and to offer randomized engagement incentives on the platform. Ultimately this creates a more exciting, transparent, and fraud-proof user experience, as users can earn NFTs and random rewards with varying rarity and gamified utility, which are distributed fairly and without bias.
Chainlink VRF works by combining block data that is still unknown when the request is made with the oracle node’s pre-committed private key to generate both a random number and a cryptographic proof. The HiFi Gaming Society smart contract will only accept the random number input if it has a valid cryptographic proof, and the cryptographic proof can only be generated if the VRF process is tamper-proof.
This provide users with automated and verifiable assurances directly on-chain that HiFi Gaming Society is provably fair and was not tampered with by the oracle, outside entities, or the HiFi Gaming Society team.

HIFI is finalizing it’s successful (1000+ gamers) beta program and the whitelist/password protected site will soon be removed. HiFi’s gaming product is expected to soft launch shortly thereafter.
