Gamerse Integrates Chainlink Price Feeds for Secure NFT Marketplace Price Conversions
Gamerse is proud to announce the upcoming integration of Chainlink Price Feeds on BSC! By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, they now have access to real-time price data that helps to build out a more unified and user-friendly experience for its Social Aggregator Marketplace (SAM), which is due to launch Friday 15th April.
The end vision for Gamerse’s SAM is a cross-chain, cross-platform hub that curates, displays, and facilitates all gaming NFTs and their transactions to provide a true one-stop-shop for play-to-earn gamers. In order to achieve this goal, Gamerse must make incremental steps in building out the most user-friendly platform with intuitive functionality available on the marketplace.
An important consideration for building a cross-chain marketplace is to provide NFT buyers with all the information they need to make an educated decision. For example, when an NFT marketplace lists prices in a variety of different digital assets, it can be hard for buyers to understand the actual cost of any one item — especially during volatile market times where there are constant fluctuations.
That’s why it needed Chainlink Price Feeds, which allows them to provide users with reliable, real-time conversions to USD based on the underlying price of cryptocurrencies. With the goal of building out a holistic multi-chain NFT marketplace, it SAM initially enables users to transact using BNB, ETH, and MATIC.
Chainlink’s wide range of off-chain data is constantly being implemented in newer blockchains, making multi-chain expansion a breeze. Specifically, they plan to integrate Solana-based Chainlink Price Feeds when it becomes available — marking another addition to the SAM’s extensive list of multi-chain expansions.
