MetaDerby Partnership With MetaGaming Guild
MetaDerby announces a partnership with MetaGaming Guild (MGG), a community-governed decentralized gaming guild focused on empowering gamers through play-to-earn gaming.
MetaGaming Guild is a Philippines-based gamer guild operating as a DAO, and focused on enabling individuals to build their careers in gaming by utilizing only a smartphone and access to the internet.
Through their gaming scholarship program, guild members can rent out MGG and other player owned in-game NFTs to participate in play-to-earn gaming, and share the reaped rewards with the guild while earning income for themselves. MGG also focuses on acquiring virtual assets issued by startup NFT gaming projects to be added to its gamer vaults. The tokens of these high-potential projects are earned as yield by the MGG stakers.
The partnership will streamline the process of acquiring and lending MetaDerby NFTs for MGG, allowing its member scholars to borrow the NFTs to participate in MetaDerby universe and earn rewards by racing, building race tracks, organizing events, and breeding champion horses. MetaDerby NFT owners will be able to stake their NFTs in the MGG’s DeFi lending protocol to get yield on their NFTs via the scholarship program.
By joining forces, MetaDerby will reach MGG’s 30K Discord members and more than 1000 active scholars as well, offering new entertainment and earning opportunities for members in the DerbyVerse, and accelerating the growth of the most ambitious horse racing Metaverse game in the industry.
