Life Labs Integrates Fuse
Life Labs integrates Fuse Network. The upcoming Life mobile crypto wallet will support FUSE tokens on Ethereum and BNB Chain at launch. Later on, Life will add full support for the Fuse Network blockchain on the app.
Despite the fact that more than a decade has passed since the crypto space was born, interacting with blockchain often still remains a tedious experience for many users. A particularly persistent point of friction is the need to handle hexadecimal public addresses that humans cannot memorize but have to carefully verify before sending funds as blockchain transactions usually can’t be reversed.
One potential solution to this conundrum is offered by the Life Crypto platform which has now extended support to Fuse.
A Username-Centric Mobile Crypto App
Life Crypto is building an innovative multichain mobile wallet application centered around names. A user creating an account in the wallet needs to purchase a username if they want a username of their own choice. Otherwise, they need to obtain one of those available for free. Names are stored on the blockchain.
This approach enables Life users to send the supported crypto assets to unique nicknames rather than complicated blockchain addresses significantly improving the user experience and facilitating adoption. In addition to this, in the future, once Life has launched its marketplace, wallet names will become tradable on it.
At the same time, while Life users transact via usernames, the Life app is completely non-custodial, so users’ public addresses remain in full control of the wallets associated with the names that they hold.
Furthermore, LIFE is the native token of the Life platform and wallet. It is required for purchasing usernames and it can also already be staked on the Life Staking platform.
The Life Crypto wallet is expected to officially launch next month on both Android and iOS. The post-launch roadmap includes, among other things, the integration with the Coinify fiat-to-crypto on-ramp, enabling users to purchase the LIFE token and get onboarded via their credit card. Other upgrades in the pipeline include an in-app decentralized exchange (DEX) and a marketplace for trading usernames.
How Fuse Integrates Life Crypto
Fuse and Life Crypto have agreed to establish collaboration. At launch, the Life app will support the ERC20 (Ethereum mainnet) and BEP20 (BNB Chain) versions of Fuse’s native FUSE token for transactions.
Later down the line, the Life Crypto wallet will add full support for the Fuse Network blockchain, enabling users to transact and own usernames on the chain.
