WEMIX Blockchain Platform Hits 50,000+ DAU
Wemade Tree, a blockchain subsidiary of Korean game company Wemade, announced that its blockchain platform WEMIX hit 50,000+ DAU(Daily Active User) during the last week of April 2021.
Considering that the first WEMIX-based game was launched on Dec. 31, 2020, it took only four months to reach 50K+ DAU, the figure which is in the same league as the global major blockchain platforms.
Currently, two blockchain games, ‘BirdTornado for WEMIX’ and ‘CaiShenChuanQi for WEMIX’ are being serviced on WEMIX. WEMIX wallet and DEX, where users can store and exchange WEMIX Token and game tokens, are also based on the platform. Top 3 countries with most WEMIX users are Indonesia, USA, and the Philippines, meaning that it is used widely in many regions of the world.
A Wemade Tree employee said the number of WEMIX users is rapidly increasing based on the traffic of user services, and the company aims to provide more user experiences, including but not only limited to games, for popularizing blockchain services.
Wemade Tree’s new blockchain game and NFT Market for non-fungible tokens will be launched on WEMIX in the 2021 2Q. Klaytn-based NFT trade will be available in the latter half of 2021, and Ethereum-based service will be provided in 2022. All forms, including art, digital art, music, and more, of NFT trade will be supported.
