Astar Network Joins With The Crypto Climate Accord
Astar Network will update Shiden Network from PoA to NPoS. This update will allow users to stake their SDN tokens to collators and earn staking revenue. Astar Network will continue our discussions with cloud providers and update the community with future developments.
Astar Network believes that building a public blockchain should take the form of social entrepreneurship. Public blockchains are open-source, transparent, verifiable, and accessible protocols to make society better — but the public commonly clings onto the notion that crypto is a net negative for the environment. This is a major factor preventing mainstream companies from adapting blockchains.
It’s apparent that global environmental issues are some of the most significant problems that our generation must approach. And today, we are excited to announce that we joined the Crypto Climate Accord to make Astar Network green.
