LAND Sale Queueing System by The Sandbox

The Sandbox released LAND Sale Queuing system, making LAND sales more transparent and fair for everyone.

All users present on the map when we hit the last hour mark before the sale starts will be sent into the waiting room.
Once the sale starts, all users in the waiting room will be given a randomized queue position.
When the sale is live 1,000 users will be sent to the map and have 10 minutes to perform a purchase.
Everyone else, as well as users entering the map after the sale start, will enter the waiting room.
When the LANDs are sold out or after some time, the waiting room will be closed and all remaining users in the waiting room will be redirected to the map and choose from any potentially remaining LANDs.

Queue-it system

One hour prior to the LAND sale, we will disable access to either link giving access to the map (regular or filtered). Each user present on the map, or those who try to access it from that point on, will be sent to the waiting room.

When they reach the sale launch time, every user present in the waiting room will be assigned a queue position at random and the first 1000 will access the map. After that 1000 more users will be sent to the map every ten minutes until the sale sells out.

Users that access the map after the sale has officially started will not be given a number. Instead, they will be sent straight to the end of the line in the waiting room.

After some time has passed, depending on the sales status, the waiting room will close and all users remaining in the waiting room will be redirected to the map.

What about gas fees?

Gas fees will still have their importance and as such, you would still need to use ETH for your transaction to go through. The queuing system will not interfere with them in any way so using the lowest amount of gas can still result in a failed transaction. If a transaction fails, you won’t be able to retry the transaction and will need to try purchasing another LAND.
