Sherpas Can Now Stake OM on Polygon!

Strategy at inception is set to 350,000 OM per month distributed to stakers on Polygon.

This guide serves as an explainer for how to first configure Metamask for the Polygon network and then how to bridge tokens from Ethereum to Polygon.

How to Setup Polygon (previously known as Matic) on Metamask:

Network Name: Polygon Mainnet

New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network

ChainID: 137

Symbol: MATIC

Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/

Then press “Save”

Congratulations! Now Your MetaMask is connected to Polygon.

Once you have successfully completed the configuration you can use the same wallet address to interact with Polygon.

How to Bridge Your Tokens from Ethereum to Polygon:

Login to: https://wallet.matic.network/

Connect to your Ethereum wallet using one of the methods above.

Once you have connected, you will see a dashboard showing all your token balances on Polygon.

Click on “Move funds to Matic Mainnet”.

Use the dropdown to choose the token to bridge over.

You’ll be shown a transfer overview that shows the total gas required to bridge the token over, click “Continue” to proceed, and follow the instructions on screen.

Once your tokens are transferred, it takes 8–10 minutes for them to arrive on your wallet address on Polygon.

Please note that your wallet address remains the same, but your tokens are now on Polygon!
