Forest Knight proud to formally announce strategic integration with Polygon.  They will be working closely with the Polygon team, leveraging upon their expertise to utilize their network and ecosystem to its maximum potential. This is a big step towards them becoming one of the top DeFi gaming platforms, and we’re thrilled to finally share the details!

Polygon Integration Plan

Forest Knight is a turn-based strategy game, where players can build their dream team of heroes to traverse the wild realms outside the wonderful town of Chronville. This lends itself perfectly to integration on a high throughput, low transaction fee network.

The $KNIGHT token will be deployed on Polygon, which is a utility token used as the medium of exchange between participants in the Forest Knight ecosystem, and an integral part of the game mechanics.

The smart contracts behind Forest Knight will also be deployed on Polygon. With the power of Polygon, players will see functionality similar to other online games, but with the added benefits of the transparency, immutability, and security of blockchain.

They are also exploring other DeFi applications for Polygon in the future, such as on-chain governance, supporting third-party marketplaces, and DEX liquidity farming, amongst other things.

Blockchain Features

Forest Knight will come with a fully-fledged set of blockchain features:

• In-Game Assets, such as land and collectibles, will be NFTs created on the blockchain.
• An in-game marketplace, powered by the $KNIGHT token. There will also be the possibility for third-party marketplaces, to help maximize liquidity.
• Battle Pass will be an NFT itself, leveling up as players complete missions. The NFT level will determine rewards at the end of the season.
• Pets will be an exciting feature in Forest Knight, planned to be introduced in the later stages of development. Players will be able to hatch magical eggs to receive pets with randomized characteristics. These pets are dynamic NFTs that can level up and affect players’ gameplay, as well as being used for DeFi purposes to participate in the ecosystem.
