Apricot Completes External Audit with Cybersecurity Firm Halborn
Apricot Finance was completely audited by the cybersecurity firm Halborn.
Apricot Finance has been working with Halborn, an elite cybersecurity auditing firm in the crypto space to ensure the security of their platform. Halborn was tasked with subjecting the lending platform to a range of security tests to prevent any low-level vulnerabilities.
The scope of the security tests entailed an assessment of the risks and implications based on the code in Apricot Contract’s private Github repository.
The purpose of the security audit was twofold:
✔️ ensure that the smart contract functions are intentional
✔️ identify potential security issues with the smart contracts
After both a manual review of the code by Halborn’s team as well as automated security testing, Halborn’s audit of Apricot Finance’s protocol yielded a satisfactory result overall.
With the upcoming mainnet launch planned in the coming days, the Apricot feels it is imperative to go above and beyond best practices when it comes to security in the interest of our community. While we pride ourselves on bringing you the best returns, we believe security will always be paramount.
