MUDA Collaborates with Polygon on the AfroKingz NFT Collection
Muda, one of Africa’s largest blockchain firms is launching the AfroKingz collection on the highly popular Polygon network. Polygon is a top 50 blockchain by market cap and the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. The AfroKingz NFT collection comprises of 15,000 unique hand drawn and programmatically generated artistic collectibles with references from various kingdoms around the African continent, that were carefully curated and prepared for the metaverse.
The collection is inspired by the rich history and culture from various African tribes and pre-colonial kingdoms. It consists of Masks that come from different African tribes and kingdoms mixed with various accessories and print patterns in order to create a mix of digital avatars, collectibles, and rare items. The community is invited to join the race to take control of the AfroKingz universe by competing to collect and build the biggest kingdom.
An initial batch of ten thousand AfroKingz Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) will be minted on the Polygon network, laying the foundation for the development of the AfroKingz universe which will include blockchain games, digital avatars, puzzles and the AfroKingz Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO).
Suleiman Murunga said, “We decided on the collaboration with Polygon owing to the low fees and ease of use. This ensures that it will be easy for our community members to get a hold of an NFT without having to face gas wars. We know that many of our members will be first time owners and it was key for us to aim for global participation on this project.”
The AfroKingz NFT collection is part of the wider MUDA token sale, where all NFT holders will be rewarded with an airdrop of the MUDA tokens once they are released to the public.
