Revolve Games Integrates Chainlink VRF to Fairly Assign Random Traits to Character NFTs
Revolve Games is excited to announce they have integrated Chainlink VRF to enable the creation of unique, in-game character and vehicle NFTs involving an element of chance. When users mint new characters/NFT assets in the Revolve Games metaverse they will be assigned random traits using the verifiably tamper-proof randomness supplied by Chainlink VRF. However, users who stake more in the Revolve Games metaverse will have a higher probability of earning rarer traits. The integration is already available on BSC and Polygon, with plans to launch on other blockchains in the future.
How Revolve Games Uses Chainlink VRF
To take gameplay to the next level, we will reward players that stake more in the Revolve Games Metaverse. When a user generates a character, a player’s traits are randomized based on a weight system. The more you stake, the higher chance a player has of acquiring a rare trait over a common trait.
That means the more you stake, the more unique, powerful, and cooler your character will be in the Revolve Games metaverse! When it comes to generating these random traits, Chainlink VRF allows us to use the power of oracles and secure off-chain computation to make sure everybody is subject to the same rules when it comes to earning rare traits and NFTs! Importantly, the randomness is not exposed to common miner exploits while also providing transparency not present in most off-chain RNG solutions.
