Zebec and Chainlink Price Feeds Integration
Zebec is a continuous settlement protocol on Solana, is integrating Chainlink Price Feeds to provide high-quality price reference data to its Automated Dollar-Cost Averaging function.
Through this integration with the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, Zebec will have access to tamper-proof, high-speed market data needed to extract the prices of crypto assets. Zebec’s Automated Dollar-Cost Averaging feature will help users securely invest their savings to purchase crypto assets.
Zebec chose Chainlink as their go-to oracle solution because its infrastructure is seamless to integrate and time-tested in production. Chainlink already helps secure leading DeFi protocols responsible for tens of billions of dollars in smart contract value, maintaining robust security and high availability even amidst unexpected events, such as exchange downtime, flash crashes, and data manipulation attacks via flash loans.
Zebec is enabling the composable transfer of value starting with Zebec Payroll. Their newest addition to the protocol is the Zebec Safe, a fully customizable multi-sig on Solana enabling secure treasury management. They will also be announcing the Automated Dollar-Cost Averaging feature soon. Zebec is more than money streaming — they have got automated DCAs, yield farming, and a zero-fee fiat on and off-ramp in the making.
In order to help secure its Automated Dollar-Cost Averaging feature, they need access to fresh asset prices that are supplied directly on-chain in a highly reliable manner. Fair market asset prices should reflect a volume-weighted average from all trading environments. Thus, they needed to make use of an oracle network to fetch aggregated price data off-chain and deliver it on-chain to be consumed by our application.
