Parallel Heiko Integrates On Moonriver
Firstly, Parallel Finance is excited to announce that the HRMP communication channel between its sister protocol — Parallel Heiko Integrates On Moonriver. The primary use case of the open bi-directional channel is to enable native communication and the transfer of HKO and MOVR between the two parachains without the need for bridges. The integration will also be extended to PARA and Moonbeam soon.
Besides, this development will bring MOVR to Parallel Heiko super DApps suite which has DeFi products like Liquid staking, AMM, decentralized money market, liquid crowdloan stream protocol (DAO tooling), wallet, and yield farming.
HRMP or Horizontal Relay-routed Message Passing is the transport protocol of XCM (cross-consensus messaging) — the interoperability mechanism within the Polkadot and Kusama relaychains. It allows for rich messaging and interaction between parachains on the network and eliminates communication barriers between them. Being in its early phase, the main feature of this interaction involves token movement. However, more generic, extensible and customizable message parsing features to enable multichain DApp deployments will be add in the future.
Finally, Moonbeam a Polkadot smart contract platform that makes it easy to build natively interoperable blockchain applications. And then, Moonriver its sister network where new codes are first ship to test and verified under real economic conditions.
