Outer Ring Integrates Chainlink
Outer Ring integrates Chainlink VRF on BNB Chain mainnet to distribute 350.000 NFTs from its lootboxes, including unique weapons, armours, ships, and other in-game items.
Outer Ring is also integrating Chainlink Price Feeds in order to set conversion rates in the native NFT marketplace, which will enable players to more easily trade their tokenized items. The game is a player-driven economy, so all NFTs tradable in the marketplace are assets generated or created by a player.
Key results
8.525.000 – 4.262.500 BUSD in volume
+18.000 governance token holders
+350.000 random NFTs generated
Each of the loot boxes that Outer Ring will release on June 29th contains 3 to 13 NFTs. The in-game loot boxes contain a variety of different NFTs, including armour pieces, weapons, materials, vehicles, and more.
Chainlink VRF works by combining block data that is still unknown. The Outer Ring smart contract will only accept the random number input if it has a valid cryptographic proof, and the cryptographic proof can only be generated if the VRF process is tamper-proof. This helps provide users with automated and publicly verifiable proof directly on-chain that each lootbox.
