ERAX New Partnership with OpiPets
ERAX has announced a new partnership with OpiPets, a revolutionary free-to-play, Play-&-Earn game.
Project Introduction
OpiPets is a free-to-play, Play-&-Earn economy-based, pet battling game that rewards players with cryptocurrency and the ability to create, battle, collect or sell their unique OpiPet NFTs.
They emphasise gameplay first, then enable the community to participate in player-driven markets and shops that facilitate the sale of in-game items.
Players can begin trying to build their wealth by exploring the various avenues to earn their in-game token without spending any money.
OpiPets offers traditional aspects of P2E gaming, such as PvP ranked leaderboards, mini-games, NFT minting, cryptocurrency as in-game points, and breeding mechanics. In addition, they have developed unique features and benefits designed to improve the play-and-earn experience for their community.
The Vision

To build a platform that allows our community of players to participate in the game’s development and earn simply by playing, with no upfront fees. They will lower the barriers to adoption that currently prevent blockchain games from becoming mainstream.
Built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), their vision will be achieved in three stages, beginning with the launch of their browser-based game. Once their community has tested the economics and mechanics of the Opiverse, they will then start the development of a fully interactive AAA 3D Opiverse built in Unity. The final stage will be the release of a Virtual Reality OpiPets game. Allowing players to immerse themselves in the Opiverse through Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) applications.
Tokenomics
One of the issues affecting the performance of in-game tokens is tying them to the governance token. Doing this means that it can be influenced by people not playing the game, such as investors and speculators.
They have segregated their two tokens to ensure this doesn’t happen. The OpiPets utility token is separated from the governance token to protect the community from external speculators whose only goal is to profit, in turn, impacting the value earned by players’ in-game activities.
It’s not fun to watch your time and value washed away by token volatility for the benefit of crypto investors. Protecting the community from traditional play-and-earn models that are exposed to external price manipulation provides them with stability regarding token reward rates.
