UREEQA’s Revolutionary Platform Went Live On Public
After a of the idea to protect, manage and monetize creative work using blockchain technology, UREEQA’s revolutionary platform is live. Following four months in a closed beta that saw UREEQA successfully validate and Responsibly Mint™ work from several renowned creators across a variety of fields (including BK the Artist, Vapor95, and Bryce Soderberg from Lifehouse), they are inviting everyone to join on this success.
Those who participate as Creators as the platform launches as a minimum viable product (MVP) today will have their work automatically placed in UREEQA’s Daily Batch, where their work will be permanently time-stamped on the blockchain. The record will be hashed to the blockchain in a group, with other creative work, once daily, for free.
Creative work that is uploaded to the platform will be curated by the UREEQA team and displayed in UREEQA’s community feed, allowing Creators to showcase their creative work. From time to time, UREEQA will run sponsorship programs whereby selected creations in the community will be sponsored for full Validation and monetization opportunities in the UREEQA Marketplace. This enables Creators from around the world to showcase their work to the world and monetize it.
Full Validation (Level 2) is a more rigorous form of protection for creative work where, through individual staking claims, the user has their own dedicated hash on the blockchain. This allows users to post important information to the blockchain, like authorship details, artist residency, employment information and dates of creation. These are critical pieces of evidence that legacy copyright agencies typically collect for copyright registration. Additionally, and most powerfully, UREEQA provides Creators with the ability to attach supporting documents to the record that are also hashed on the blockchain.
