Echidna Successfully Passed Omniscia’s Security Audit
Echidna announces that they have successfully passed Omniscia’s security audit.
Omniscia is widely regarded as one of the best smart contract auditing firms and was also Platypus Finance’s auditor.
Audit Summary
Omniscia identified a total of 51 findings during their review of our codebase, of which 20 findings concerned the behavior and security of our system. The team successfully addressed all major issues and acknowledged all findings in the report, greatly increasing the security of our system.
Omniscia performed the following analyses:
Static Analysis — Minor information errors were highlighted and addressed by the Echidna team. All issues discovered during this analysis have been resolved.
Manual Review — Omniscia scrutinized Echidna’s staking codebase line by line to identify security risks and vulnerabilities. Major vulnerabilities were promptly remediated by the Echidna team.
Code Style — Omniscia identified 27 optimisations that could be applied to decrease gas costs resulting from the execution of core functions. Echidna made necessary adjustments to ensure our project’s code complied with the latest best practices and standards in Solidity.
Omniscia’s post audit conclusion stated Echidna’s code is at a “production-ready standard”.
